I'll check about that, however if you like to prepare a push request that would be ideal. To do so, please look at the source to understand how it works, it's pretty straight forward and mainly need to put the right file in the right place, and add the required documentation.

Not yet.  I had just put it in my lib/assets/javascripts folder temporarily to make it work.  Is there more to it than that?

That's enough for it to work in local.

However if you like to patch this gem you will need to place it in the gem_root/vendor/... and update the doc.
