From the home directory of the termux install:
mkdir builds
cd builds/
git clone https://github.com/saghul/pycares
cd pycares/
nano deps/c-ares/src/config_linux/ares_config.h
comment out line: #define HAVE_GETSERVBYPORT_R 1
/* Define to 1 if you have the getservbyport_r function. */
//#define HAVE_GETSERVBYPORT_R 1
save ares_config.h
python setup.py install
see if it works:
python tests/tests.py

Maybe that could be guarded with an if __ANDROID__.
