after playing with it, i also installed sigal on python3 it seems like PIL seems not able to recognize that particular file.
I believe this issue should not fall to sigal issue, Not sure if i should close this or you want me to do some more debugging.

Hi @k2patel ,
For your first issue, I see two potential causes:
- do you have the correct rights to write in /srv/http/vedi ?
- maybe an issue with ffmpeg and MOV files, I will check that, we should at least check that the thumbnail was correctly generated.
For python 3, I haven't released yet a py3 compatible version, you can try with the master branch of the git repository, feedback on this is welcome ;-).

Yes, it seems the issue with with MOV. there is correct permission on the folder.
