And what if you have 3 players active at the same time and U pause 1 of them.
Then you would have still 2 active. To which to switch ?
Seems a really uncommon case - is this really something we should spent our time on ?

I would say the solution is to use the sources menu to switch the players.
I configured it to open on right mouse click.
