Yes. Planning a release next Friday, if all goes well.

I lost my rights to publish artifacts after I left Salesforce. I'm trying to find someone who can push the button on my behalf.

Hi @rmichela
Did this release ever take place?

from reactive-grpc.

rmichela avatar rmichela commented on June 19, 2024 1

Should be there this afternoon (US EST). @nikolay-pshenichny and I are doing the release at that time.

sheinbergon avatar sheinbergon commented on June 19, 2024 1

@rmichela congrats, it's there - https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/com/salesforce/servicelibs/reactive-grpc/1.2.4/

sheinbergon avatar sheinbergon commented on June 19, 2024

For how long have you been trying to do that?

from reactive-grpc.

sheinbergon avatar sheinbergon commented on June 19, 2024

@rmichela maybe a blunt question, but does anyone at Salesforce even care about this project aside from you (and your ex-sf, from what I gather).?

Do you feel it's time for a fork?

from reactive-grpc.

rmichela avatar rmichela commented on June 19, 2024

I’m working with salesforce to transfer the project to the GRPC-ecosystem org.

from reactive-grpc.

sheinbergon avatar sheinbergon commented on June 19, 2024

That's great to hear. Can you please share on the process and ETAs?

from reactive-grpc.

sheinbergon avatar sheinbergon commented on June 19, 2024

Hi @rmichela. Any updates on the transfer?

from reactive-grpc.

scottslewis avatar scottslewis commented on June 19, 2024

@rmichela fyi: I'm also possibly interested in moving the work I've done to osgi-service-enable grpc + reactivex-grpc (grpc-osgi-generator) to the grpc ecosystem. I also would possibly be able to provide some ongoing support for reactivex-grpc, although I'm not nearly familiar enough with all of the reactive-grpc code to do so myself. But just FYI:

grpc/grpc-java#1565 (comment)

Hi @rmichela

Has any progress been made with Salesforce in regards to.moving this library to the gRPC ecosystem?

from reactive-grpc.

sheinbergon avatar sheinbergon commented on June 19, 2024

@rmichela thanks you for taking care of this, really appreciate it. When can we expect to see new artifacts in maven central?

from reactive-grpc.

rmichela avatar rmichela commented on June 19, 2024

Release complete. Waiting for maven central to converge.
