The only difference I see is that foncustom make autohinting after conversion to EOT and WOFF.

If I remove the reference to the EOT file, the WOFF format doesn't work either. Could the autohinting be a factor?

Everything could be a factor :-) I should check whether it‘s a problem of all webfont builds of just your set of files.

Haha, okay. I'll run a test on a different set of icons to see if I have the same issue.

Okay, I tested with a different set of icons but the results were the same.

I had the same issue (the .eot and the .woff font was not working in Windows 7, IE 9). BUT I have another Virtual Machine where the same files are working fine. It is also Windows 7. ... In the meantime, windows automatically installed IE 10. After I reverted to IE 9 it is now working too...

I'm having the same issues. Eot gets loaded in IE9 but it's all blank from there.

It's definitely a problem with ttfautohint.
I'm using this for an icon font and uninstalled ttfautohint and regenerated the font.
I also tried older versions of ttfautohint but that didn't work out.
Font is displaying normal in IE9 now.

sapegin avatar sapegin commented on June 27, 2024

Probably we need to generate EOT before auto hinting and WOFF after.

Looks like it works fine in IE10 in IE9 compatibility mode. Downloading IE9 VM…

Can’t reproduce it even in IE9:

Could anybody send me non-working font and its gruntfile?

Okay, icons are looking good on my end for IE 8, 9, and 10.
