According to my current knowledge, the order of the two instances of Event1 is preserved. But the order among events of different types not. You could obtain one of the combinations: (e2, e1, e3), (e1, e2, e3), (e1, e3, e2).
@srodriguez, @ngaud, could you confirm this behavior?

This question may give us the opportunity to discuss on:

  • What is the default policy for the event ordering?
  • How to change the order of the event at the SARL level (by introducing a timestamp for the event-based simulation for instance).
  • How to emit an event in the future by giving a specific date, and not saying "in XXX seconds"? What will be the impact of this time management on the language?

The way how it is implemented is not relevant to SARL, but to Janus. Consequently, I think the behavior of the Google Event Bus may help us to decide, but it must not restrict the SARL expressiveness.

We have already discussed most of there issues in background (update of the Schedule capacity...) We have the opportunity to fix the decisions via this issue.

It is impossible to guarantee the scheduling of events at the arrival point. It is dependent from the VM code, in this case Janus. Normally it should respect the order but no certitude.
