Ansible deployment fails to deploy nfs-subdir-external-provisioner-sas

We can change this to an enhancement request. I had to manually go into my nfs server and I changed the /export permissions to 0777 and created an /export/pvs directory. That appeared to get me past this error. Could the Deployment project check for the existence of the pvs subdirectory and create it if it is not present?

Hi @sasbxs, the "Error: context deadline exceeded" issue you encountered suggests there was a problem accessing a 3rd party helm chart resource needed to install the nfs-subdir-external-provisioner. A successful helm chart installation would have created the /export folder with the correct permissions that you would need. Creating the folder manually would still leave you without the nfs-subdir-external-provisioner helm chart installed which will cause problems with your deployment. I'd expect that the problem you saw is a temporary one and that if you were able to retry your "baseline,install" you would not continue to see that error. If you encounter that error again, the viya4-deployment project is structured so that you can re-run the baseline tasks again once the access issue resolves to sufficiently complete all the baseline install tasks.
