I d say this has always been there. To fix it some amount of rounding off based on the current subdiv value might be needed here to snuggly fit the notes for triplets.

It would be great if that bug could be solved, good luck! :) PS: I think it should not be based on the current subdiv but on whether the x's are 3 or not within the parentheses because otherwise it would end up shrinking the entire midi even if they are [xxxx]
