I saw this comment here but I didn't find any good examples/explanation.

Basically I'm having the same problem reported in the above issue:

About this:

The Git user associated with the Git credentials has to be able to push commit to the release branch.

When configuring branches permission on a Git hosting service (e.g. GitHub protected branches, GitLab protected branches or Bitbucket branch permissions) it might be necessary to create a specific configuration in order to allow the semantic-release user to bypass global restrictions. For example on GitHub you can uncheck "Include administrators" and configure semantic-release to use an administrator user, so the plugin can push the release commit without requiring status checks and pull request reviews.

I have GH key setup as Variable environment because @semantic-release-bot create my tags (https://github.com/raulfdm/generator-react-component-library/releases/tag/v1.5.0)

But for some reason is not been copied

The problem is indicated in the logs:

This test run was triggered on the branch develop, while semantic-release is configured to only publish from master, therefore a new version won’t be published.

If you run semantic-release on the proper branch (master in your case) it should work.
