When using Semgrep locally, it seems to be stuck on some files for a long time (e.g. 20 min) before I kill it.
What are you running @peter17 ? OSS or Pro?
Those options are being exposed but IMO if you have to change them then there is probably something else that is wrong.

@IagoAbal in case my case I have to analyze thousands of repositories and having a global timeout would prevent blocking for too long the job on a specific iteration. I would even be fine to have partial results but I guess it's an edge case.
Nonetheless, I think having a global timeout from within Semgrep would help instead of having to do this by wrapping the Semgrep commands.
