Hi,

I've not been as active as I would've liked recently, so I only saw this ticket just now. I think it's a good change, but it'll mean quite a bit of work at our end to get everything going.

I tried looking at the branch you linked to, but it seems to have disappeared?

Yeah I quickly got annoyed juggling branches which were drifting so far apart so I merged the json changes along with a complete reorganization of the eclim file structure (something I've been wanting to do for some time now) into master. I'm not planning on pushing a new release any time soon though. If migrating emacs-eclim is going to take a while, then I'll keep you guys in the loop as far as when I'm planning on the next release of eclim so that perhaps the emacs-eclim readme can be updated with a note on which versions of eclim it is currently compatible with.
