if there are limitiations, then thats a bug... i had some issues with long textes some weeks ago... maybe i should change the mysql library. thanks for the issue. will take a look at it... but this might take some time sry. you should probably save the images to the disk not the database :)

okaydokay! i just added an example for saving base64 encoded images to the database, receiving it from it again and writing it into a file. 255kb works fine for me: https://github.com/sdepold/sequelize/tree/master/examples/image-handling

Oooph, I don't really recall that anymore. I'm storing images in a Postgres database for a project of mine and it works just fine.

But be aware that this is from Sequelize v2 and we are now on v6 and a lot has changed since then
