right, good examples/guides on how to write tests would also mean setting well behaved standards for composition and code style in general.

As for this plugin, it started more like a proof of concept and... all right who am I kidding, I didn't feel like doing unit test all right?! jeez :P

Tricky part like fiddling with service/artifact dirs would definitely need testing tho. Might as well do a bunch of them. I'll try to work on those next weekend following the serveress repo style.

@thenikso awesome work!

Just saw this and my first thought was: "Why would I want to use webpack on the server?" Makes total sense for serverside rendering with dynamic content or isomorphic applications using loaders (e.g. postcss + css modules).

I would recommend to explain such use-cases very early in the Readme. Maybe even explain when not to use it 😄

Nice @thenikso . @pmuens @eahefnawy @nikgraf can you guys take a look at this, you're the web pack specialists to give some feedback on the plugin?

Wow! Really impressed by this one @thenikso! Great Work! 🎉

Are there any plans for automated tests?
Would love to see this one in the repo.

+1 for standards like readme, test coverage etc.

Awesome @thenikso . We're also going to start including the same linting we're using in the main repo into this repository to make sure we follow the same standards (just fyi that you're not surprised at some point).

Let us know if you have any specific questions, happy to help as this will as it seems be our first plugin we're going to introduce into the community plugin repo and so it will help guide all the tooling we're putting in place :)

A changelog intended for plugin developers would definitely help in keeping plugins up to date, especially in this fast changing days!

Yup that makes sense. Especially once we move plugins into this repo we want to make sure there are integration tests in place as well so the plugins can actually run.

@thenikso I'm currently using this plugin for a project. Trying to find documents on the best way to write unit tests for this setup. Do you know where I can possibly find examples?
