It is possible to do that with the current advanced share input, though I admit its not the most intuitive.

If youd like to split 30€ and assign 7 shares to the first person, 12 to the second and 11 to the third the 30€ will be split 7€ to the first, 12€ to the second and 11€ to the third.

The othet option currently is to enter each item people bought separately as a transaction position and assign it to the respective person.
E.g. wine for 7€ and assign it to mike.

If I understand correctly youd like a feature like the advanced share input but where you can enter absolute values in euro, right?
