There is a 10-seconds clear lead by default. The audio and video files should be able to play for 10 seconds without decryption. You may adjust the length of the clear lead with command line param --clear_lead

OK, I was creating a quick test with an 11 second file. I'll try something longer as well as that param. If it works I'll close this ticket.

I can confirm this worked, I now have a properly encrypted file. I can't play it back in our test player, but I'm assuming that's an unrelated issue. Thanks for the help!
