Do you run it in a NAT network? DHT doesn't support for that now.

Yes my network is NAT but i don't think that is the issue because i am seeing traffic with wireshark on my computer. If it was being blocked i don't think i would see the traffic in wireshark.

I am getting some results now from the crawler but sometimes there is no response from the peer to get the torrent metadata i think that maybe because the peer is busy and doesn't respond?

I could add the info hashes into a list to keep trying them periodically.

Does udp port mapping works in NAT network?
Does port number 6881 must be 6881 ? or I can just use any other port number mapped to my LAN host ?

It doesn't have to be 6881. You can set it in config. https://github.com/shiyanhui/dht/blob/master/dht.go#L81
