Which compiler are you using? And what system are you compiling for?

g++4.6.3, system is ubuntu12.04, 64bit, my PC is win7 64bit, using ubuntu through vmware.
BTW,when compiling mve on windows with vs2010,it works well.

Hmm I have the same setup on a machine here, and I cannot reproduce the error, so I guess it's a problem with libjpeg. libjpeg is in plain C and therefore defines it's own bool type "boolean". We might have different versions because mine defines "boolean" as a simple int, which doesn't cause any problems when the argument has to be converted. But I've read that there are other versions that define the "boolean" as an enumeration or what not, and in this case it's a problem for the compiler. Either way - replacing the "false" in line 372 of image_io.cc with "FALSE", which is defined by libjpeg, should work on any system.
