Have Atom Updates Broken atom-editorconfig

The problem is back and I can't tell why that might be.

I added markdown files to my configuration:

# EditorConfig is awesome: http://EditorConfig.org

# top-most EditorConfig file
root = true

# Unix-style newlines with a newline ending every file
[*]
charset = utf-8
end_of_line = lf
trim_trailing_whitespace = true
insert_final_newline = true
indent_style = tab
indent_size = 3

# 2 space indentation
[*.{yaml, yml, cson, md}]
indent_style = space
indent_size = 2

But .md files open as Tabs:3.

.yaml files open as Spaces:2, as expected.

What's going on?
