Hey @cedricsam, this is awesome! There are times here when LaziestLoader is the only code on the page that still requires jQuery. Your Slothy might come in handy for us, too. I'll take a deeper look in the next few days and let folks around here know.

Yeah, I figured I'd fallback to old code or a polyfil if needed.

Awesome! :) Here are a few live examples with the ai2html use case:

We also added retina3x
support, but that hasn't seen a live use case yet (and seems to only be good for recent phone-sized devices).

Hey @cedricsam, no timetables yet, but I'm considering reworking LaziestLoader to drop jQuery and utilize IntersectionObserver instead of scroll, where possible. I've imported Slothy as a feature branch. Mind if I start from there under the LaziestLoader name if I leave history and credits intack?

Yeah, totally, @sjwilliams! Not too sentimental about the name. Intersection Observer sounds like a cool feature to leverage... I suppose you’re just planning to fall back on the current code if it’s not supported.

Hey @sjwilliams, I finally got around to working on an IntersectionObserver version of the script... https://github.com/bizweekgraphics/slothy-loader/tree/v2.0.0

@cedricsam wow! I've had this on my TODOs forever. Have you used in production?! I may take this for a spin on an upcoming project.
