An idea would be use use a "hook_options.yaml"

This is a blocker for me, currently using mason bricks. The analyzer is stuck on those files, I have added these folders to analysis_options.yaml but it still analyze and fails.

Which step specifically is it stuck on? If the dart analyzer itself is stuck, there is nothing I can do with this package, as it will always run the analyzer on the whole project. Ignoring files here would only filter out the results.

@Skycoder42 It will give error on any mason file since ofcourse they won't be proper. Is there a way to allow for ignoring certain folder, packages or files?

Well, again, it depends on what step it fails for. Is it the analyzer? The formatter? You cannot exclude files completely, but you can configure the tools that dart_pre_commit invokes.

For example, if it's an analyzer problem, you can simply add the broken files to the exclude section of the analysis_options.yaml. If it is the formatter, you are out of luck. However, you could simply disable the formatter completely with dart_pre_commit by adding the following to the pubspec:
