I only suggest to check, that there is no heavy operations in main thread.
Did you try a example project? Is it lag too?

I tried running the example project today, and it is still the same case when running it on an iPhone 5 with 7.1.2. You can see it lags when the ActionSheetPicker appears and disappears.

As for me - it works incredibly fast.
Have you got jailbreak?
I can only assume that you install some tweaks, that can slowdown and speedup system animation.

I'm running the default iPhone installation (7.1.2), so there is no jailbreak, or any tweaks added. I tried your example and it is the same case.

When running the application in the simulator everything runs smooth, the problem occurs when the app is running on the iPhone.

Sorry, I've been unable to reproduce this behaviour. I assumed that probably something wrong with your isolated environment, so I think it's better to close this for now. If it will occur on other machines - fell free to reopen issue.
