This is not an issue related to the Qgis version, It seems more about an error in the plugin while it is setting the file bands, but I need to check that specific case...

So, which Landsat are you trying to mask?, Collection 1 or 2? where do you download it? could you send me the Landsat ID of that image?

I am downloading Landsat collection 2 Level -1 (Landsat-8) from the website https://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/

I've tested with both "LC08_L1TP_181028_20210321_20210401_01_T1" and "LC08_L1TP_181028_20210321_20210401_02_T1" and the cloudmasking worked well, I found and fixed a specific error maybe related bd68d8c but your error KeyError: 'FILE_NAME_BAND_SR_4' seems that the MTL file was alternated or edited please check again with the original data and if the error persists please tell me in which part of the process the error appears
