This plugin currently only supports Max OS X and Linux hosts. :(

That is correct. There is some proof-of-concept code to make this work on Windows, but it is disabled since I don't have a physical Windows machine that can run VirtualBox at the ready. Hopefully when the next release of Vagrant comes out and uses the performance improvements to Listen, this plugin won't be necessary, so I'm not going to work on Windows support until that can be evaluated.

If you are looking for a solution to share directory between WIndows to Linux VM without any speed loss you could consider this plugin : https://github.com/GM-Alex/vagrant-winnfsd
to @smerrill : if you don't like the promotion of another plugin here, feel free to delete my message :)

Actually, @gefgef, vagrant rsync
should work on your Windows machine regardless of this plugin (so long as you have rsync installed.) I wonder if this might not be an issue with the vagrant-aws plugin.

Thank you, @smerrill for feedback. Now vagrant rsync
works fine on Win7 using cygwin. So, it's not an vagrant-gatling-rsync issue.

Despite the new version of Vagrant, use of listen 2.7.12 which should improve speed, I don't see any improvement on my system (windows 8.1, Vagrant 2.7.1 : 3-8s in the VM for the watch to detect file changes). So I wanted to know if you still intend to release a new version with windows support ?
I tried to enable your plugin for window but I get the following error :
listen/listenwindows.rb:21:in `watch_recursively': can't modify frozen String (RuntimeError)
Thank you
