Great to know! Yes, this issue will be fixed in the next release. I'll close it for now.

@RedTailedHawk there is a bug will be fixed in 3.6.28 which may be related to your case. It happens when a connection is reused by multiple queries and some queries do not consume the resultSets, then the memory usage is not released for the new queries.

A quick check is to make sure all resultSets have been consumed or wait for the next release. Sorry for the inconvenience.
