I have the same issue if I try to set the compatibility of my app to sdk 2.2 (Froyo)
(maifest file --> android:minSdkVersion="8")
This issue forces me to set android:minSdkVersion="9" in my manifest.xml file and therefore the app cannot be compatible with android 2.2 (only because of this little problem)
I am with dev357 and think that a different method should be used instead.

isEmpty() is also used in the java-websocket library, once!

Is there any way you could do something about that too or will i just have to use my own version of it?

What is worse is that it looks they're not active anymore.

Also the version on github and the version on Maven seem to be different(the one on github doesnt seem to work). Both of them are conveniently called version 1.3.0 :/
