What's the date format you're using ? There's an issue when saving as timestamp. On a new site, you can try to set Save as timestamp = NO.

date format is yy-mm-dd.
I updated them to not use timestamps, and the problem persists.
I also created new fields on a fresh WordPress install (with and without timestamps), no luck.

I think the problem is the key name at https://github.com/soderlind/acf-field-date-time-picker/blob/master/date_time_picker-v4.php#L28
Changing that key from 'value' to 'default_value' fixes the problem.

I think this is of the same nature as my recently posted question: #15
I'll see if @mikespainhower's suggestion fixes my problem, then edit this post if so...
@mikespainhower's 'default_value' fix has also worked for me, however, if I select 20:42 (which is 8:42pm), it changes my entry to 08:42 (am), and upon save has changed the entry to 08:42 (does not save as 20:42...)

Is anyone else still experiencing a problem with data clearing upon save...and any afternoon values (ie: 20:00) turning into 8:00 onblur?

It seems it was working, but there was just no identifier dictating whether a value was morning or afternoon. It was still changing a 20:00, for example, to 08:00, but when I changed the time formatting to 'h:mm TT', I was able to see whether a value was AM or PM...
