Hah, so on this subject, updating to 0.0.5 has broken that code since #attribute_set is now private. Far from invoking #send, is there an alternative? It's useful to be able to, say, iterate a Hash to map one data source onto another.

@d11wtq no worries. It validates that the idea was sound. I added those mostly because I didn't want people to use #attribute_get and #attribute_set as public methods. It's fine if people use it in their subclasses when they redefine #[] and #[]=; otherwise they can just use the shortcut methods everywhere.
