And It throw some errors like this:

We are migrating our issue tracking to Jira instead of Github issue. I just did the initial import and didn't add links from GH to Jira yet.

@marco-carvalho for your information, we confirmed the issue: S6757 triggers a false positive when this is used inside a functional React component that is declared inside a class React component. The Jira issue that has been mentioned by @Wohops will be used to track the changes required to fix the issue, but I will also keep this GitHub issue updated for your convenience.

You are right; the rule should not trigger this case.

Did you encounter this problem using SonarQube or SonarLint? And, regardless of the tool, would you happen to know the version that triggers the error?

@marco-carvalho , I was not able to reproduce the issue with SonarQube 10.4, with the provided code sample. Is this the full code sample or an excerpt of it? Also, do you also have S6774 triggered at lines 9 and 12?
