Thanks! The idea of using .method(:call)
is great, and I think we can document it as a legitimate use. I played a bit with this, I think we can suggest passing not the object that responds to call, but the call
method (or any other method, for that matter). So instead of passing a lambda, you can do "-a" => foo.method(:call)
. As passing something other than lambdas is not a pattern right now, we can wait and see if sending the call
method solves this case.
