You may use the &tagSearchType parameter and set it to 'exact'. But this will only work, if you use only one tag per resource what is not usefull at all.
If there will be time I'll work on a solution which will fix this issue and additionally will support to filter by a list of tags (not only by one).

I am currently discovering that chris = Christ when using taglister. This is unacceptable behavior.

I think maybe an additional snippet could be added to the package providing a much loose return such as the one you requested here.

By default it should be an exact match not a %like% match in the query.

The main problem I see is this makes tagLister inconsistent with getResourcesTag, so that tagLister might say there are 4 pages with a given tag, but when you click through you see 6
