I think it's not good idea to use @Named instead of @Param just like it's not good to use @Component of which @Named is standards compliant equivalent - they serve completely different purpose, and IMO it's not good to mix them up

@Named is not specified in terms of a comparison to @Component but rather as a simple String-based qualifier, no more, no less. As it will be part of Java 7 as well I think it's a good choice. Nevertheless I agree that using the debug information is probably the better way anyway
