Can you please add gist with file you're scanning and phpcs command used to scan a file?

Yes, please provide some sample code I can use to replicate the issue. It's very hard to track down problems like this one as they tend to either be caused by specific code or a custom coding standard. So if you are also using a custom coding standard, it would be good to be able to see it as well, unless you can replicate the error by just using one of the included standards.
