Three ways:
-
download the webpage, instrument the code locally, run the instrumented
webpage with record/replay. -
Or if you just want to do taint analysis on non-primitive values, try
this one https://www.eecs.berkeley.edu/~gongliang13/jalangi_ff/.
The tool runs Jalangi in Firefox (currently the tool does not support
record/replay and full shadow execution),
so you need to write your own lightweight taint analysis engine for
front-end (do not wrap concrete values in ConcolicValue).
You can attach taint information to an object (e.g., obj[J$] ={taint:
true} ), but this doesn't work for primitive data values. -
Another possible solution (not sure if this works) is to first load the
webpage using the front-end tool, save instrumented webpage
and resources, do some modifications and run it locally using record mode.
Then replay it with the taint engine in Jalangi.

Is there a way to run the taint analysis engine on live websites? Or
should I download the website first and then run the taint analysis on it?Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHubhttps://github.com//issues/48
