Something like this ought to do it:

            using (var client = new SshClient("myserver", 22, "user", "pwd"))
            {
                client.Connect();

                var forwardedPort = new ForwardedPortDynamic(1080);
                client.AddForwardedPort(forwardedPort);
                forwardedPort.Start();
            }
