I can reproduce it myself. I was trying to find artwork for Jellyfin Media Player, and it couldn't find any (as if it was waiting for a connection or results from server, SteamGridDB does have Jellyfin Media Player). I hit [X] to check filters (first time using this plugin, friend's Steam Deck) and it opened up a fullscreen blur that won't disable. I can restart their Steam Deck and do this again and again. Background webpage reads 'Something went wrong while displaying this frontend '.

Edit: Friend doesn't have any Steam Deck 5GHz issues, I told them to disable Power Management long ago. There is also no need to restart the Steam Deck, you can simply restart Steam instead.

Steam OS 3.4.4, Build 20221228.1, Beta branch. Already mentioned the shortcut name, 'Jellyfin Media Player'. It isn't specific to any particular name, it even happens for built-in games such as 'DOOM Eternal'. The bug appears to have a race-condition regarding when items are loaded and when you attempt to Filter. This is what makes it so tricky to nail down, but I've been able to trigger it several times now, though the timing is mostly luck.

Unfortunately, it can be unreliable. It seems I got lucky in that I could once do it multiple times in a row to trigger. It acts similar to an asynchronous race-condition bug typically seen in multithreaded applications. That's all I can think of on-hand.

That's alright, I so rarely need to use it, I can always lose singular item progress and retry.
