Hi,
the ROS sample was added in ZED SDK v0.9 version , in the same time we added the slMat2cvMat function (which was in the samples before) directly in the SDK.
What you've done is correct in fact and will work, but it is better to take the last release for the ZED SDK. See here : https://www.stereolabs.com/developers/ .
The ROS driver has been added in the Jetson release in the 0.9.1.
