Hi, since the ZED SDK 1.0, the zed_optical_frame doesn't exist anymore, you can use your ZED with the map Fixed Frame. To find out what's your problem with the point cloud, close everything related to the zed and launch the ZED Explorer to check that your camera is working, please read and report me if you have any error message or popup.
What is the version number at the bottom-right of the ZED Explorer? (should be v1.0.0)
If it seems to work properly, close the ZED Explorer (important), and launch et Depth Viewer to see if the point cloud and the depth are correct. (send me a screenshot if you have any doubts)
Those two tools are available in /usr/local/zed/tools
Then close the depth viewer, and make sure that your zed-ros-wrapper is up-to-date.
After that, you should be able to use the wrapper with Rviz.
Notice that the most up-to-date information about how to use the wrapper are in the readme.md of the repo. (it seems that the blog isn't up-to-date).
