a friend gave me this kit a few days ago and I will have a look soon... looks like it does not export a scsi interface to send commands to, as the stm32vl does... so it wont work "as is".

Same issue here with the STM32F4, similar lsusb output.

mcd1992: We've just added the F4 memory map to the stm32l branch on my repository, but I don't have an F4 board yet. (And, unfortunately, that promo is only for north america :(

However, we've done a lot of work in recent weeks, to get this going, I'd be very happy if you'd try the stm32l branch, and let me know how it works for you...

if mcd1992 does not have the time I will check your work by Friday night. BTW your mods look a very good starting
point to start with for the next version of stlink. Karlp, where do you live? I might be able to have F4 kits if you need
one (no guaranties yet since I did not even receive mine...)
