Frontend wise it's already there -> http://v2.strichliste.org/#!/user/search.
If the user base grows too large ( e.G., beyond 1000) entries, so we can't prefetch them anymore, there should be a backend call as well.

I was thinking of this as a feature for desktop usage, but you might be right. sigh

I don't like magic. So not a fan of hidden features. Maybe there is a happy medium between both solutions.
