I've only got Office 2016 installed.
I don't think it is spellchecking though, see the "error" below :
See how StyleCop is expecting me to use english comments instead of french ones.
Under VS 2013, Stylcop By JetBrains is picking the language correctly and does not indicate an error here.
(Sorry for the black boxes but this is a corporate project)
EDIT :
One more information, I'm now using the 2016.1 release of R# and it does not seem to impact my issue

Hi Guys, is this issue resolved or is there any workaround? Basically StyleCop does not honor the culture setting in the StyleCop settings file. E.g. Enforces "Initializes" (en-US) instead of "Initialiases" (en-GB).
I am using VS2015, Resharper Ultimate 2017.1.2, StyleCop.dll (4.7.1000.0 - 4.7.54.0), StyleCop.Resharper.dll (4.7.1000.0 - 4.7.54.0).
Also manually copying the dlls mentioned in the link below has no effect.

I've just stepped through the code, and it's definitely loading settings files, and the culture is set, too. So, ReSharper is reading the information, but I'm not sure if it's using it. From your comment, I'm not sure what "StyleCop expects the XML doc comments to be redacted in English instead of the selected locale" means. Is this a spell check issue?
I ask this because StyleCop uses the spell checker from Office 2010 only, and you have to have that version installed, or it doesn't get picked up.
Could you provide some screenshots, perhaps, or the StyleCop rule that is failing, please?

I have the same issue: Resharper 2016.1, StyleCop by JetBrains 2016.1.0, StyleCop 4.7.49.
In VS 2013 everything works as expected.

This is due to the language resource files not being installed. Unfortunately, the ReSharper installer doesn't like it when I add them - it complains that there are multiple files with the same name. I'm speaking to the team to see if there's a way to make it work.

Hi!
It seems like the problem has come back in VS 2017, Resahrper 2016.3.2, StyleCop by JetBrains 2016.3.2
from stylecop.
Can confirm, this happens with VS 2017, ReSharper 2017.1.2, StyleCop by JetBrains 2017.1.1.
Manually copying the missing files to the right location doesn't appear to have any effect.
