There are a few different options here:
- Local Storage Events (but probably doesn't work for React Native)
- Broadcast Channel API
- Service Worker Post Message
- Window Post Message
The workaround here for developers is that they implement this themselves using one of these strategies, but I agree it would be convenient if we implemented it once in the library
