Hi there πŸ‘‹

My name is Steven V. Miller and I'm a docent in the Department of Economic History and International Relations at Stockholm University. I'm also a BITSS Catalyst with the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences. My research and teaching interests focus on the broad intersection of international conflict and political behavior.

My Github interests are varied, but I use Github for the following stuff you may find useful:

R Markdown/Jekyll templates: By far the most traffic I get to my Github concerns my suite of R Markdown templates, my main Jekyll template, or the Jekyll template I use for my course websites.

R Packages: I have several R packages that may interest you.

Package Downloads tl;dr Description
{codename} generate unique code names for things (comes in various styles, like Ubuntu and Wu-Tang)
{dragracer} learn R functions around data from RuPaul's Drag Race

Research: I've used Github as repos for all my solo/lead publications since about 2015. Examples include my 2011 CMPS, my 2017 Political Behavior, my 2017 PRQ, my 2018 PEPSPP, my 2019 SSQ, my 2020 JREP with Nick Davis, and my 2022 SSJ.
