Thank you, @ieedan! I really appreciate the demo and the detailed description. Using your demo, I was able to improve Swapy's performance even more. Please upgrade to v0.1.1. After that, the main thing you need to do to see a drastic improvement in your demo is to use data-swapy-exclude on the content of your items. In your example, you can add it to the wrapper of the BigComponent list.
