I'm a software developer and mechanical engineer living in Cleveland, Ohio. My current interests in software are in C#, .NET, and Python.

My first expereience with programming (outside of putting a super cool rotating music player on my MySpace) was while pursuing my undergrad in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. I selected CS 159 (Programming Applications for Engineers) as my freshman science elective, where I learned the fundamental principles, concepts, and methods of programming in C. Mostly, I remember writing a lot of loops and taking hand-written multiple choice tests on syntax. During my senior year, I pulled an all-nighter sprucing up my Machine Design II MATLAB code purely for fun... I'm not sure anyone MATLABs for fun and I probably should have realized then that I should have majored in CS...

👩‍💻 About Me

• 👻 I am an avid collector of knowledge and fun-facts: from the fluid dynamics that affect aerospace flight to the native habitiat of Spanish Moss (which is neither from Spain nor a moss!), no topic is off the table!
• 🧗‍♀️ I also enjoy collecting hobbies, but the ones that stay on repeat are: rock climbing, cooking, sailing, and watercolor painting.
• 👩‍🏭 I managed the Hot Strip Mill department in a steel mill for 6 years. 🔥👷‍♀️ I'm well versed in putting out literal fires, managing unexpected chaos, and working with sometimes difficult personalities.

• 😻 I have three extremely adorable pets: a cat and two dogs.
