You're right here @gaku-sei and I do think we can fix this by reverting partialOperationContext back from a record to a [@bs.deriving abstract] (as it previously was). I was at first concerned that ReScript didn't support this syntax, since it isn't documented 😱 but just tested it out in the playground and it works. For example, you can still do this:

@bs.deriving(abstract)
type a = {
  @bs.optional
  b: string,
  @bs.optional
  c: int,
}

let x = a(~b="Hi", ())

and it'll compile to a partial object like this:

'use strict';

var x = {
  b: "Hi"
};

exports.x = x;

which should be safe for object spread!

I'll put up a PR later today, or feel free to go for it if you have time!
