I personally think jRespond should work more like media queries so that you can define a familiar set of rules.

maxWidth, minWidth, etc.

It would just be more legible to me.

Then you could have breakpoints happening and overlaps would be unnecessary because it would just be assumed.

if maxWidth is defined but minWidth isn't defined, then that means it runs until the maxWidth is exceeded... and so on.

I agree this would be useful.

However, for now assigning a function to an array of breakpoints seems to accomplish similar results.

Just looked over the source code and this should be really easy to implement, will fork and look at doing this

ok i will be adding this at some point, been busy working on new version SimpleStateManager (which is using the code that I will port across to work with jRespond)

I also agree this would be very useful. In my case I need both mobile and tablet breakpoints but I also need another breakpoint to count for both mobile and tablet and slightly above, Hence adding a function to mobile and tablet wouldn't achieve what I need.
