Interesting, I'll love to provide official AppImages for linux! I'm very open for this addition. I don't run linux myself, and didn't know about the problems. Could you be interested in doing a pull request for this?

Where do your binaries actually get built? I see you are not using Travis CI for this.

At the moment I have a built script in package.json.

However, I actually plan on doing a rewrite of Ramme with focus on automating the build and release process (Auto-updating etc.). My plan is to use Travis CI, and switch to Electron-Builder for packaging. I didn't know about AppImages before you opened this issue, but it looks like Electron-Builder has support for this format.

Yes. In this case I won't send a PR as electron-builder will build AppImages for "free".
