Maybe this is related to #73 which I just noticed on Travis, but I cannot reproduce locally

I wonder if a change in hvac release is causing this problem

It almost looks like I was responding to the wrong issue because your problem has nothing to do with the failed test, that was an issue with hvac/vault.'
If you already have an approle token, you don't need to login, you could probably use token auth
from ansible-modules-hashivault.
