I have no idea how to fix it.
I think that it may be a bug in vte?

Hi,
After some digging around, I found that the latest revision for vte3 enables support for extended mouse coordinates a la urxvt. I've tested this on gnome terminal and gvim with ttymouse=urxvt and it works. tmux on the other hand, doesnt seem to recognize it yet.
I any case, you may want to consider building lilyterm agains vte3 if you would like to have this feature enabled.

LilyTerm, and all other vte3 based x terminal emulators, has troubles on geometry.

So that port LilyTerm to GTK3+ will be a huge work, and may not work normally.
I'll port LilyTerm to GTK3+ ASAP to fix this problem. Thank you for reporting this bug!
